Just so you know, Poor Robin, Blogapotamus Rex's joyful, colorful shop of button bracelets and other adornments is having a "Yart Sale" (yard+art) in which she is offering free shipping until Sunday, June 14. Blogapotamus is shipping from England.
Even though I hardly wear jewelry these days, I gave into temptation and bought her Panic Under the Big Top bracelet with some of my shop earnings:

I admire the Spotty Dotty Hanky Panky but I shall resist in the event you become smitten with it.
I'm not posting any new dolls in my own shop because I'm going to put it in vacation mode from June 11-21, but this Day King doll will go in the shop after I return:
The plan is to make a cloud child, and then also have a Night Queen with accompanying star child in a separate listing.

LOVE the Day King.
Cute little hat!!
And I'm so PROUD OF YOU for getting jewelry. I am now the proud owner of two new BIG OLD rings from Molten Metal, a non-Etsy artisan shop here. I have one for you, of course. Just take note: it's BIG. You could probably use it as a guitar pick.
Tanita: I want to see! Thank you so much.
One of the things I hope to do on vacation is catch up on blog reading. I've missed so much.
LSM: Thank you!
I am looking forward to vacation. What with illnesses and other challenges, it's time to rest.
Wow, look at that little stitched rainbow! I just love all those little stitches.
Your dolls are so beautiful and skillfully done! :)
I just like the NAME Spotty Dotty Hanky Panky! And your Day King doll is beautiful. Thanks also for sharing the French song--it made me think of that movie, Before Sunset. Have a nice vacation, Farida!
Greetings, everyone! I am enjoying my vacation very much. I even got some sewing done. I made a Queen of Night, a cloud child, a star child AND my first saint doll. The saint is Rose of Lima, who is one of the patron saints of needleworkers. Fitting, I thought.
Queen of Night has a moonbow embroidered on her cape. I've never seen a moonbow, I don't think. Yesterday, it rained and hailed, and afterward, we saw a double rainbow. Exciting! We live in a valley, so we don't see rainbows unless we're out and about.
...it'll be waiting, hopefully, when you get home from Santa Fe. Trying to find one more thing to stick in the package... :)
Tanita: Hurray! Thank you.
SQUEAL! SQUEAL over the back of the Day King doll!
I was actually able to visit with the lovely blogapotamus over christmas vacation this year and I too gave in to the temptation of a button bracelet. i LOVE it and get compliments every time I wear it. The leather strap has relaxed a bit over time and is a tiny bit looser than it was when i first bought it, but that's a good thing--it can now move around my wrist. and it goes with pretty much everything i own. yours is lovely!
