Children's Bands on Tour

Recess Monkey is going on a cross-country tour!

More good news: Elizabeth Mitchell is finally coming to the West Coast in August and September.

Eric Herman has been on tour for a few months now. We plan to see him and visit with his family in August when he comes to Bellevue, Washington, but in the meantime, if you live in certain parts of Missouri, Kansas, Montana, Colorado, Utah, or Idaho, you will have a chance to see him in concert.

Are you excited about any upcoming children's music concerts in your area? Please feel welcome to kvell in the comments section....

I'm a huge fan of SteveSongs. And Steve started a stint on PBS Kids. You should check him out--I bet you'd love his songs! Plus he writes some songs based on childrens' books, which I find very cool.

Hope you had a great 4th of July!

Dude, I'd love to take my girls to see Elizabeth Mitchell live. I'm jealous.

THANK YOU AGAIN for those space-themed songs and rhymes. I'm planning on using three of them on Tuesday---and the "zoom zoom" song again, which my girls STILL SING---and I'm re-learning The Rough-Face Girl, which ...well, you know, the Invisible Being's sled runner is made from the Spirit Road, the great Milky Way of stars that spreads across the sky. So there. That'll work for me. (I sometimes HATE themed summer-reading programs, but I know we've talked about that before.)
