Hit Pause

Lucia has two weeks of spring break coming up, plus my father is coming into town tomorrow. We're planning to head out to Mount Rainier and visit the Tulip Festival. Hence, the blog may be quiet for a few days or more. Happy Spring! (We've got frost this morning.)

We can stay all day!
And Lucia's coming too - too - too!
How about you - you - you?"

Hurrah for tulips!

Thanks! By the way, a wee snowdrop popped up the other day. I think it was buried too deeply (memo to self: from now on, don't take the instructions literally). It's a kick to see a snowdrop in April.

Are my kids not the only ones, after all, who ask me to "pause" things they need to take a break from, as though all of life were on video and I had the remote control?

A tulip festival sounds like the delight of delights. What fun! Send a postcard.

BluePappa is thinking he might like to take us all to Seattle and show us the sights one of these days soon...

Sounds like some good plans. Enjoy!

I shall probably miss the tulip festival in Ottawa this year. Maybe you could post a picture of a tulip for me to tide me over until next spring.

SO funny. I was gardening (and singing, and writing) today, and thought of YOU. XOXOXO! Mean it.

Thanks, all! We're having a good time. I'll post photos of the tulip festival if any good ones come out. I've heard that I'm getting a new digital camera for my birthday, and I am looking forward to passing along my old, mostly reliable (but very, very slow and clunky) camera.
