Winterfest 2007: Worlds of Storytelling

I'm going to be telling stories at the Seattle Center's Center Stage on Wednesday, December 19, at 12:15 pm, as part of the Worlds of Storytelling festival. (The website linked under my blurb is my old one, which I hope they correct soon.) I'll be sharing the stage that day with Kibibi Monie of Nu Black Arts West and Marco Cortes, who will be telling Latin American stories in Spanish and English. Whether you happen to be in the Seattle Center neighborhood, or you feel like making a special trip out to see your old friend Alkelda the Gleeful, please feel welcome to partake in these festivites. This event is free!

Unfortunately - given my distant geographical location - I shall not be in attendance! By the way, my band would have been called... let me see... The 52nd State... or maybe... The Yorkshire Dales... or Alkelda and The Gleefuls... By the way - please don't feel miffed that I didn't pick you for a letter to yourself at thirteen... You were there but then I deleted you for some reason.

LSM and YP: I wish you could both be there. Fear not, I am not miffed that I didn't get tagged for a meme. Maybe you thought, "I already know what A the G would tell herself."
