The Literal-Minded Three-Year-Old
Amy of Stories from the Red Tent shares a tale about her three-year-old daughter's fascination with pregnancy and birth, called You Can't BS a BSer. Warning: keep your coffee (and your sweet potatoes) away from your computer while you read this. LoneStarMa, I'm posting this story especially for you.

He He.
Too funny! All of my kids went through that stage. They put dolls and stuffed animals under their shirts.
I think I tried once putting a dolly under my shirt (when I was 4 years old, that is), but wasn't impressed. I got the stuffed animals to be pregnant instead. I remember when Dr. Monkey helped the rabbit give birth... to one baby rabbit. It was a miracle!
I echo the "hee hee."

Too cute. Thank you.
You are giving out great links these days!
I never even noticed pregnant women growing up. I was the last of four, so I never saw my mom pregnant.
My oldest was fascinated as well with babies and pregnancy, especially the outie belly button, which I loathed. She was half fascinated/half disgusted.
