Yesterday, I bought a Galadriel Fuchsia plant for the back yard. With a name like that, how could I not? It's a good thing the nursery didn't carry Lyra Belacqua Peonies or Hermione Anemones.
Follow the link to see what Galadriel Fuchsias really look like.

Beautemous.
Fuchia blooms have such an amazing fragrance! I hope you have good luck with this plant.
We had peonies when I was a kid...the flowers are beautiful, but they attract ants like banana trees attract gorillas (no offense to Brad).
I do believe I will make good use of my Home Depot gift card this weekend and spend part of the weekend in the garden center...
Beautiful! I love it!
Galadriel sounds like he could be the hero of a children's yarn in the struggle against the evil Lyra Belacqua who later turned poor Galadriel into a flower that still weeps even today. And that my little friends is the end of this story...
Greetings and salutations!
Nonny: Gah! You're back, you're back, you're back!
YP: It's a sad, sad tale.
Lady K: It seems that the ants just like the nectar. They don't come for anything else, and when the nectar is done (it doesn't hurt the plant), they leave.
Jules and Noodle: I really wish you could see it in person.
That is an irresistable name. I used to have a Galadriel ring. (It was corrupting me, though, so I gave it to a little man who looked pretty honest. I really lost it.).
