My aunt took this photo when I was on the East Coast. I don't remember her taking it, yet there I am, looking intently and earnestly at the camera. Really, I was probably just focusing on the chord change (D to E minor by the look of my left hand). The photograph just begged to be turned into an album cover. Of course, now the album is so popular that I can't keep it stocked.*
Here is the playlist:
1) Wheels on the Bus/Take You Riding in My Car Mash-Up
2) Organic Mechanic (Make My Engine Run Clean)
3) De-Doodley-Doodley-Doodley Doo (The Rooster Song)
4) House of the Surprising Sundae
5) O Dan Zanes, Won't You Play in My Town
6) Throw the Kitty Out Reel
7) Tricycle Race
8) If There's Pie in the Sky, Make it Rhubarb
9) Purple Nancy
10) Sweet, Sweet Baby (Let Me Sleep Already)
Bonus Track:
Why is it Sunny in Seattle (When it's Raining in Rainier)
*No, I don't really have an album.
Addendum: I'm thinking of changing my band name to Mitzi Drives the Bus. You know, in case I ever get a hit single (besides "Doodley-Doodley Doo") and there's some trouble with the Lucy Cousins management in the world of television. I wish Maisy didn't have a television show. I'm biased, of course.

Wonderful! It does look like an actual album cover. I'd buy your album. Btw, do you know who sings the song that goes something like "Susie has a cow on her head, Susie has a cow on her head..." My 3 year old keeps singing it and now I have it stuck in my head.
It's the new Michelle Shocked with her daredevil, cutting edge lyrics... "The wheels on the bus go round and round" - like a metaphor for her years on crack cocaine. I'm sure this album will be a big hit.
Nonny: I've never heard the song "Susie Has a Cow on Her Head!" I suspect (though as always, I may be wrong) that these are mondegreen lyrics.
Mr Pudding: I knew Michelle Shocked had a hard time of it, but I didn't know about the crack cocaine. I'm glad she's been strong enough to get through all that.
I love her song about Anchorage.
I don't know. It's a great picture for an album cover but I sort of picture Maisy Drives The Bus with the whole band in multi-colored stripes and with washboards and jugs and stuff.
Oops - Maisie Drives The Bus. Didn't mean to mispell.
That's right Lone Star Ma! You don't want me to get sued by Lucy Cousins, do you?:)
MDTB is a work-in-progress. There's room for ideas and improvements. Oh yeah, and band members.
You know, I see that Shocked has a song called "Fool for Cocaine", but in a quick check on Google, I'm not turning up any stories about her actually ever being on cocaine.
Interestingly though, for some reason the author of her bio on AllMusic.com claims that Shocked's own version of her story must be semi-fictional, AND amusingly Shocked herself refers to that claim (refuting it, of course) in the bio on her website.
