The Winter Burning: addendum
I had a crisis of conscience in which I realized that no matter how much I justified the retelling of Bernard Evslin's Fionn MacCumhail tales, I was in essence, plagarizing his work. If you are at all interested, I will be happy to email individually those who wish to see my drafts of the story. I intend to tell "The Winter Burning" as a single tale, much as other storytellers recount stories of Beowulf, Odysseus, King Arthur, and other heroes.
This issue is a common dilemma among storytellers. We make mistakes. It is not our responsibility to be perfect, but we do have an obligation to be honorable.
