Whoa. There's a girl who gets into character!
How CUTE! (I think?) That's kind of how I feel right now, actually.
Lucia sounds like she's coming into her own, that's for sure.
That Lucia is awesome. Next, you'll have to share that wonderful quote about God telling O'Keefe that she could have anything she painted. Now I'm going to have to go find it....
Oh my. That's great.

Lucia is going to be one cool teen.
cool.
Hours later:
"It's my private mountain. It belongs to me. God told me if I painted it enough, I could have it."
That's a great quote, too!
I'm behind on everything, but I'm so glad you all stopped by. Have some tea!
O'Keeffe!
two ff's!
I love Jeanette Winter's My Name is Georgia too.
Got it! Thanks.
A month ago I visited the tiny casita of a new friend who built her adobe house in O'Keeffe country. One window is floor to ceiling, framing a view of the Pedernal, Georgia's own personal mountain that God gave her. I hope I can someday show this to Lucia.
Wow. What a kid.
