Bede is going to have two art shows at local venues this winter. One art show will be at the coffee shop 3 blocks from our house. Lucia is planning an art show, too, and has already started hanging her pictures over the fireplace. I hope that some of her paper-doll art inspired by Elisa Klevin's The Paper Princess and sequels will make it into the show. Here is a scanned reproduction of one of the paper-dolls:

I love her expressive face and her elaborately patterned gown. And she's part of a series? Definitely show-worthy.
Aside: Milly took an art class at our local art center this summer, and they held a student show complete with opening (juice and cookies) and wall labels. We were very proud :)
Congratulations to Bede!
Bede does art, too? I had no idea!
El Magnifico: Yes! Here's his microdungeon blog: http://blog.microdungeons.com/
Anamaria: On Lucia's behalf, thank you. I'm glad that Milly's art class had a student show at the end with snacks. Snacks are important. I figured that if we had a little house party in December with appetizers, that would suffice.
Do remind me of the date closer to, so we can send a big bouquet. I think that's what you're supposed to do, right, on the first night of a show?
Oh, not to Bede, silly. He'll just get cookies. I daresay LUCIA would like flowers for her art show. And I am still working on that doll - I loved the one she sent.
