Twist

I wrote a short story today while waiting for my daughter's class to end, but then I had to sprain my ankle when I stepped off the curb to cross the street. Since I'm only partially mobile now, I'll have a chance to type it out tomorrow while I have my foot up. For now, I'm off to bed. I hope the pain meds help me sleep. This is not the first time I've sprained the ankle, nor is it the worst. Based on what I know, I should be functionally mobile by the end of the day tomorrow.

Ouch. Didn't you sprain your ankle or wrist or something like that the last time I saw you? You're getting to be as clutzy as me! :oP

I hope you feel better real soon. :o)

Oh no! Try to keep it to plot twists from now on, and take care of yourself today.

Eric: I caught my thumb in the car door trunk last time! When I sprained my ankle, I did think, "I haven't even grown my full-thumb nail back!" It could have been worse, but it wasn't. Still, I may find myself using a walking-stick someday (the kind that can turn into a rapier with a wrist-flick).

Anamaria: No kidding, eh? I'm homebound today, and will have a chance to write, pay bills (urgh), and sew. Tomorrow... we'll see. I hope that an Ace bandage will get me through the Lantern Walk.

It was too easy to let this week slide by without resuming the stories.
