Blue Fairy and Candle Maiden

Much of my stitching time has been focused upon custom orders, but I did have a chance to post the Blue Fairy in the shop last week:

Yesterday, I posted the Candle Maiden for Hanukkah:

In addition to everything else, I've promised to make three different doll sets for the school auction in March 2010. I'm going to have to pace myself. I used to work well under stress, but now I work best when I can get things done ahead of time. I love the feeling of having thwarted the Procrastination Imp.

Ah, I finished the Halloween costumes today, and it feels so good to have two whole days in which to not worry about it! Deadlines can be fun, but relaxation is better, at my age.

The candle maiden is gorgeous! The fairy, too, but I think your faeries look like angels. Speaking of angels, I swoon over your nativity sets - swoon. They are amazing. Some other year, I am going to start commissioning you to make pieces of a set, bit by bit, year by year.

Is there a saint for procrastinators?

Beautiful stuff, as always. I need to email you about sending me that Blue Rose Doll. Will do.
