Alkelda: Dolls for Storytelling and the Nature Table

Happy May Day! Alkelda is open for business. I've been working hard on getting the shop ready, and now I'm going to take a deep breath and catch up on my blog reading... right after my 10:00 am storytelling gig today. Thank you for all of your warm words of encouragement.

Flowers: Daffodil, Fuchsia, Snowdrop, Crocus

Elementals: Aether, Air, Earth, Water, Fire

I am going to miss my friends as they go out into the world. But like Lissy of Lissy's Friends by Grace Lin, I will make more.

Congratulations--they're all lovely. I am particularly, at the moment, coveting Fuchsia. :)

Hope you're having fun with your gig!

I love the Elementals!

I boosted your shop on a Moms' group I am part of on facebook, and earned you a dozen new fans. Many of them also have Etsy shops - check out the sellers "knockknocking" and "mvansciver" for cute things...

Is the "contact Alkelda" thing the way to leave feedback or is that like a pm? I haven't figured it out - I don't see any other way to add a comment.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement and spreading the news. LoneStarMa, to answer your question, "contact Alkelda" is the way to email me through the Etsy site. If you want to leave feedback for the store and/or dolls, you click on the "Add store to favorites" and "Add item to favorites" links.

We just got back from May Faire, and even though it rained, we had a fabulous time. I did a storytime for the young ones, and it went so well that if all my audiences were like that one, I'd be spoiled!

I'm still not seeing it. I had already put you on my favorites list but I don't see how to add a feedback comment. I'll add it here, though - the dolls are all wonderful. Really wonderful. I especially love how diverse they appear to be. I have seen enough blond Waldorf dolls to last me a very long time...

I'm kicking myself for not having mentioned this in yesterday's post, as it's super kicky, indeed. I'm gonna next week!

Jules: No worries! But thanks.

Mamakopp: Thank you. I really have appreciated your support and encouragement through this venture.

LoneStarMa: You rock. Thanks so much. As I wrote to you, one can't put comments on specific listings unless one has bought something. I appreciate you wanting to do so, though.
