Sad News

Yesterday, my husband's niece lost her two-year-old son when a reckless truck driver drove up over the curb. We're making plans to go to the funeral. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. I'll respond to comments and emails when we get back.

Thank you, everyone. I had thought we were heading out today, but it turns out that the funeral won't be until Tuesday, so we'll head out next week. Please hug your loved ones extra this week.

The driver of the truck was under the influence of alcohol and narcotics at the time of the accident, and was going very fast through a school zone, less than half an hour after school let out.

The idea of loss is something that gives me a great deal of emotional upset, so I understand how you must feel. Have a safe trip, and all the best.
