I'm taking a blog break until September 1, 2007. Happy rest of the Summer, everyone in the Northern Hemisphere. For those in the Southern Hemisphere: See you in the Spring!
Where are you going? What are you doing? I am imagining you have had some kind of a breakdown and are being admitted to a sanatorium high in the Rockies but perhaps that's just because I have been reading "Human Traces" by Sebastian Faulks. Bon chance cherie!
Thanks, everyone! My mom is in town visiting, and my auntie is coming in soon after, too. We'll be working on a playhouse for Lucia and other such projects. We're planning to get away at some point (don't get any ideas, burglars who might be lurking), but in the meantime, I'll be compiling articles for future blog posts.
Well, okay, I'm supposed to be supportive here, but I don't like the notion of almost a month of no Alkelda. It will require extra caffeine.
These *do* sound like very worthy projects, though, and sometimes a girl needs a break from the Internet. I, for one, look forward to photos of the playhouse. I have seriously always wanted one of those.
Adrienne: Yes! More caffeine! I'll be scouting around on your blog, though, so it won't be total deprivation.:) Wait until you see what I used to use as a playhouse! You will understand all the more why I want Lucia to have a playhouse in which she can actually stand up... oh yeah, and her parents, too.
My blog-reading has been suffering lately, but I'm finally visiting and just wanted to say that OF COURSE I'll be here when you get back. Gotsta have my Saints and Spinners.
I am a musical storyteller in Seattle, Washington. I make embroidered wool felt dolls: Alkelda Dolls. Full disclosure: I am neither a saint nor a textile-spinner.
