The Family that Clicks Together Sticks Together
Lucia as a several-week old baby in 2003
Just because the House of Glee has no tv doesn't mean we're immune to the lure of screen-media. Bede and I both use computers extensively for work, research and writing. Lucia's wooden dollhouse came with a variety of items including a television. When Lucia saw it, she said, "Computer." When Lucia comes up to us and says, "Close the computer!" we know we've spent too much time staring at screens.

I love baby pictures. Thanks for sharing!
My kids wave their hands in front of my face when they've had it with the computer.
No TV? That's brave and cool and I admire you for sticking with such a choice when the world seems full of TV babble and the stuff that comes from it colours so many conversations. Three cheers for the House of Glee!
AWWW! Look at those chubby little fists! And that shock of hair! So cute it hurts!
adorable then - gorgeous now! I haven't watched tv since Wombat was born, though Yeti & my mother-in-law still do - we just keep Wombat out of the tv room except for very short visits. I only get to use the computer while he's asleep, too - or there are major Wombat whinges.
Lucia will learn to love the computer soon enough. She's a doll, now and a doll, then. I'm lovin' the onesie!
HWM: Clever, clever children.
YP: You're very kind to say so. It's a lot, lot easier to eschew the tv when there's iTunes to download Battlestar Galactica, though!
Eisha: Sometimes Lucia is so cute I have to look away or my eyeballs hurt.:)
Schelle: "Wombat whinges" sounds like the name for a new blog.;)
Friday: I'm embarrassed to say that Lucia loves the computer already. When Bede is away from the computer, she seizes his mouse and swishes it around. Gah!
That is the CUTEST newbie I ever saw! (My own excluded, of course :))
She is too entirely cute. Ration those baby photos before I become one of those annoying folks who insists that the human gene pool needs you and Bede to have more.
