Carnival of Children's Literature #14: Fiesta!
Hurrah for Susan Thomsen of Chicken Spaghetti! She put together the 14th Carnival of Children's Literature: The Fiesta Edition. The theme is multiculturalism (oops, I interpreted "fiesta" as a party and submitted an entry in which someone's party got ruined), and there are lots of goodies to enjoy.

Wahoo! With an introduction like yours, I had to promptly go check out your submission. Love it!
LOL! You made the cut! LOVING IT!
parties and food? Where's my invitation? ;) You are so cool, Darlin'. I wish we lived close to one another.
While the fiesta sounds fascinating, I couldn't help but notice that Dr. Pepper has a museum.
Why?
Alkelda, I rolled fiesta, party, carnival, books, and other ingredients into a big ball o' fun. Thanks for the funny submission!
I've been to the Dr. Pepper Museum, and if you used to drink 6 a day like I did, well, you might find it kinda interesting... If not, well, there's good Mexican food nearby. Viva la Waco. Or something like that!
Thanks, all!
Re: Dr. Pepper--Back when I drank soft-drinks, I enjoyed Dr. Pepper quite a bit. It was a special treat, though, like real root-beer. Now, it's just all too sweet.
Yeah, give me a glass of unsweetened iced tea any time! Once in a blue moon I have a soda these days, though I haven't had a Dr. Pepper (Mr. Pibb was no substitute) in eons.
Where did you get that cool button?
cloudscome: I made it using Microsoft Publisher. Thanks!
cloudscome: It's actually a banner, not a button. I don't know how to make buttons.
