Dan Zanes and the Gleefuls
We had front row center seats at the Dan Zanes concert yesterday, but Lucia did not sit in her seat at all. She was one of the first of the children to head toward the mosh pit. We enjoyed watching all the children dancing, holding hands, twirling each other, and making a human-train (hands on shoulders) for "Catch That Train!" After the last song ("Sweet Rosyanne"), Lucia cried because she wanted more music. Later, she told us,"We're going to see Dan Zanes again tomorrow."

Aahh...you're already starting the groupie thing early, don't you think?
Tee hee...My kids are true blue SteveSongs groupies. They will stand in line to get into a concert and to get autographs. They love Steve and his drummer, Stack. I'm getting worried.
HipWriterMama: Hah! As long as Lucia refrains from making her hair stand up straight with beeswax, I think I'm safe from the groupie-phenonmenon for a few years yet. I'll need to check out SteveSongs.
Ooh, I'm jealous! We were on vacation, having a fine time, but still I carefullly neglected to mention to my child that Dan was coming to town while we were gone.
The thing is, who enjoyed Dan Zanes most - Lucia or Mommy? By the gleeful look on your face I should say that Bede will soon be sleeping in a lonely bed!
YP: I hope Dan Zanes isn't reading this. Bede says he's not worried at all, "so there." :)
What a great pic. We have his new CD from the library now. Good stuff. Glad you all had fun.
Jules: I'm glad you're enjoying DZ. I'm ready for him to come out with another album now.
