Bede needs his own power cord. Perhaps that's an idea for his Christmas gift? Doesn't he realize that we NEED you?!
Thanks, Friday! Bede's power cord broke yesterday, and he hadn't had time to get a new power cord. I'm charging up the computer as I type now. The windstorms predicted could knock our power out for awhile. There's already a lot of street clutter (busses and cars stranded) because of all the rain we've gotten.
I'm so relieved Bede is home finally. He was in the car for 4 1/2 hours with a 1/4 tank of gas.

Everyone else: Our power is out. Lots of businesses and homes are without power around here. I'll come back online when we've reentered civilization. Then again, I had a hot shower this morning. That's the pinnacle of civilization for me.
