Sorry, guys. I got 9 spam messages today. I know some of you get turned off by word verifier, and don't want to comment as a result. The fact of the matter is the majority of my comments these days come from Anonymous telling me, "Well done!" or "Good design!" For some reason, my self-esteem hasn't soared to new heights (or whatever cliche you prefer).

Okay, if saying "Well done!" isn't a self-esteem booster, then maybe saying the opposite is:

I kinda like the word verifier. It puts a little bit of gravitas behind a comment. Not much. In fact, not a noticeable amount.
Ulric: When Anonymous tells me "Well done!" I get the sense that I'm not special, and that Anonymous is telling everyone "Well done." It's like the guy in high school who routinely asks out every single girl. He doesn't ask the girls out because they're special, but because they're single.
