After writing a few long pieces, I need to fill up the writing well again. In the meantime, here are some more photos taken at seven year intervals. Every seven years, there's a complete turnover of cells in our bodies (not at the same time, though), so the seven year intervals make sense for me. Perhaps I'll think of a story for each photo.
Seven years old
Fourteen years old
Twenty-one years old
Twenty-eight years old
Next year, I'll turn 35, and then voila, I'll be a new person again.

Yes, but you'll be a different new person. Like with Dr. Who.
Oh! I am restraining myself from muttering the old endearment that you said you didn't like but it is hard...you are such a cute little punk! I remember another cute photo of you when younger still, I think, looking serene in a garland.
I can definately see who Lucia looks like! You're absolutely lovely in each picture. I believe I had the same haircut as you when I was 14, as well. :) T'was the 80's, though.
Thanks for sharing those honey. It's actually kind of inspiring to know that every 7 years we are renewed. Of course now I have to wait until I'm 42 (UGH). My favorite is your 14 year old self, of course ;)
hey, did i take that third picture? it looks familiar...
:)
El Magnifico: I can hardly wait! I suppose it'll be too much to hope for a TARDIS, though.
Lone Star Ma: Unlike Brad the Gorilla, I don't mind being called cute. I was a cute little punk. Can you believe some people used to be scared of me? This was usually before they actually talked to me, though. Once I opened my mouth, the whole facade was blown out of the water.
Friday: Thanks! It's funny, that haircut of the 14 year old is so '80s, yet at the time, I felt a bit bold. People had recently stopped feathering their hair and were going for corkscrew perms. That picture was taken my my grandmother, by the way. She wanted a record of how I looked before going on my first date. That sullen look is trying to disguise a massive attack of butterflies.
Nonny: It's a continuing process! It's funny-- when I was a child, I heard that one's lungs turned over every seven years (this was in reference to smoking, and how quitting really was beneficial), and I literally thought that my lungs would flip over in my body. I was both excited and scared at the prospect of what it would feel like.
ABCGirl: Lawgirl took the photo, which is why it looks so familiar. I think of it as the "Maid Marian" photo.
Yes, a tricked-out police box is probably too much to hope for, as is a perky little assistant. An obscenely long rainbow scarf is not out of the question.
Galetea: I think I did see your cape, or at least hear about it. Did your mom make it between 1993-4?
My green cape is in storage back East. At one point, I just wanted to blend in and not be stopped with comments about the cape, even positive ones. Also, I was worried the cape would get stuck in the train doors. It was great striding across campus in the cape though, eh? Darth Vader theme music is always welcome, I think...!
Awhhh such a sweet post. Its my 28th year so...new person?
Rawbean: Yes, you're a new person! What are you going to do with your new self?
I'm new! I'm new! I just turned 28 a month ago!
Dang, I'd better take care of these cells if they're gonna get me to 35!
You have always been such a serious hottie.
