What is the world coming to? The Bronte sisters were daughters of Yorkshire. Their multi-layered writings deserve study and admiration not the cheapening effect of TV superhero portrayal by shallow non-readers.

ReplyDeleteI've read and studied the Brontes since college. Adore Charlotte, don't have much use for Emily and don't recall Anne's stuff. But funny is funny!
