Amazing Grace (early draft)

As I was cleaning out the archives, I found a hand-written note from Garrulous MacKenzie that I don't think he ever sent to Mary Hoffman, author of Amazing Grace:

  1. Now, that would have been a rollicking version to read, indeed!

  5. 7Imp: You never know what lurks behind these tales...

Timothy: Penny Esmarkus has given that Garrulous a shot in the mouth many a time.

TadMack: Blood but no bones? Okay!

HWM: I know that there was the interest of storyline steamlining, but I wonder why the teacher didn't catch at least one of those remarks-- they usually don't get whispered in class that young. What Garrulous totally didn't catch was the depiction of American Indians in the tale a l a "Hiawatha by the shining big sea water..."
