I think people back East are in general more direct and honest. Out here in the PNW, we're all so cordial and amiable (except when we're driving), but you never quite know where you stand with us. On the other hand, I've imbibed enough of the laid-backness of the PNW that I really appreciate it and find the East a bit too tense for long-term living.Saints and Spinnershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733517166056974501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11123046.post-69316707377436303382007-10-23T09:00:00.000-07:002007-10-23T09:00:00.000-07:00Now I'm wondering whether you miss living in NYC.....Now I'm wondering whether you miss living in NYC...

Great interview!Vivian Mahoneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11285339307161020541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11123046.post-19865148611101315862007-10-23T04:41:00.000-07:002007-10-23T04:41:00.000-07:00Wonderful interview. Don't forget to visit my friend Winnie-the Pooh & Friends at the Central Children's Room (oh yeah, and some of my beloved colleagues, too).

YP: Have you ever tried to FORCE a 450 lb gorilla to do anything? Come to think of it, have you ever tried to reason with such a beast? The fur flies, believe you me, and it's not Brad's fur, but the cats. Poor kitties (mraaaaw!), they really do not enjoy being airborne.Saints and Spinnershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04733517166056974501noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11123046.post-61838506270205960012007-10-22T15:57:00.000-07:002007-10-22T15:57:00.000-07:00Fascinating responses. Why should he be allowed to spend all of his spare money on drinking and womanising? He should be paying his way.Yorkshire Puddinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06019673884543913089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11123046.post-31168954886237204142007-10-22T15:00:00.000-07:002007-10-22T15:00:00.000-07:00It sounds like that NYPL is a fabulous place.
